The power of the internet. The "map" below is of Peden Barracks, Wertheim, Germany. You can get a better look by going to googlemaps.com and pulling this up yourself...you can zoom in so close, you can see the housing we used to live in. For those of you that can remember, notice what used to be the "main gate" (just to the southwest of the "a" marker). to the left of that there are four vertical buildings with three horizontal ones. they are white. i believe those are housing we lived in,,,,i am thinking we were in the third one from the right continue to the left and you can see the school we attended. drop down across the street and you will find yourself in "devil's meadow".
cool, huh. whats even neater is that on some maps, you can drop in to street level and "see" what the street looks like.....try it with some of your old addresses. talk about memory joggers.

That's incredible. Little has changed in 40 years. Now zoom in on most any place in the US that we lived, and see the change there. Most are unrecognizable.
