IRRITATION.

3:30.  I have been to Lowes and purchased a new flapper-flusher thing for the toilet.  Now I need to go buy new bolts....Didn't think about them being rusted, can't get one off.  

Ah but I just got of the phone w/ ATT.  Louis, aka Julio, supervisor has been in contact wi/ dispatch.  They can come out this after noon.  Great.  I told them, yeah sure, come on out, but if I am not here......I am not going to wait around for them anymore.  I have given up a holiday and now a weekend day to sit and wait for them.  Oh yeah and get this, he says the dispatch supervisor told them they are behind because their techs called in sick today....Seems to me if they new they were late at 8 am they should have called.....making people sit around waiting....I am fuming.  I get the feeling these guys are full of beans.  The tech introduced this sup as Louis, but when he called me back, he said his name is Julio.  I hope his mother knows his name....

So we have found a new place in town that serves Thai food.  It tastes good, all of it.  Its reasonably priced and the place has a quiet, reserved atmosphere.  But I tell ya, that food tears up my guts.  LOL  You would think that after the first time I wouldn't have gone back, but I did.  And this morning, I got up burping pineapple fried rice w/ chicken.  It was more like steamed fried rice.....I am still trying to figure out what they did to the pineapple.  It was neither sweet nor strong tasting.  It was kind of rubbery, but without the little juice pockets pineapple has...but it tasted good.   I have no idea what it was cooked in.  I wonder what it could be.  And then, the little Thai-guy brought out his little Thai-broom.  It had to have come from his mother country, I have never seen a broom like that except on television...probably a history channel or travel channel.  I'd like to have one.  It was splayed out like a hand, had a little short stick.  Pretty cool.  Not like our American brooms that push stuff from here to there and all over.  Interesting.

ATT just called.  Luis/Julio "pulled some strings" and they are coming out today.  I think he just told me that before.....And get this he's going to call me tomorrow to see if everything is working.  Yeah.  We'll see.

They called again!  Sonny is going to be here in 20 or 30 minutes!!!  

I guess I better get going.  If I am sitting on my computer when they get here, they are not going to believe me.  Can't they track connectivity by IP address?  I am thinking they can.  Bo-bo's.

Okay...I am done for the day.  I have laundry to fold.
