For as nasty as it here in town, ugly gray and wet, it was a pleasure to be there. I even saw a pretty big spot of blue in the sky! (I just hate these dismal days here!)
The Cooper Dog went with me. He's such a good dog and of course his mother loves showing him off. He is gettin' big now, probably 24'' at the shoulder. All puppy. Its kind of like having a big kid and expecting more from him, but really, his coordination and play is that of a puppy. It is just so much fun to watch his antics. And he looks good in his retro-grade red jacket, too. It has a little hood that comes out of the zipper pocket.
We walked up to the "small dog" park when we got back into town. We had the place to ourselves until these two little boys came by on their bikes. They couldn't get enough of Coop...and the feeling was mutual. They ran and jumped and chased; just had a good ol' time with each other. One of the boys asked me if my grandkids give him a lot of hugs too. !!!! What grandchildren is he talking about???? Cooper IS my grand child! Little black puppy for a grandchild....go figure.
Wow...two posts in two o o nine already....I think I'm on a roll.
ciao, bellas
