Baffling isn't it.
At one time I had learned math so well I could actually figure out equations of X and Y. But this one, THIS one, has always left me wondering. What in the heck does this mean?
If I plug in Y with any number, X could be anything.
So is this an equation of potential possibilities with no right or wrong answer? More like a personality test or some other philosophical question. Perhaps even a Microsoft question. Does this mean all things are linked to math? I never thought that was true, but now I am beginning to think.....
Think? UmmmmmmNO.
Here's to all the C-A-P-I-T-A-L-S of the world.
Love ya's.

I don't know what you're talking about. Y can be anything, but then X can only be Y + 5045. X is limited by the value of Y.
There isn't one answer to this, no - the answer is a function. :)
Man, I love math. I miss it. The last person I tutored was Big Gary.
Are all things linked to math? Maybe. It is pretty pervasive.
Mmmm... algebra is like doing puzzles. Maybe I'll go play with some numbers.
I like it. I like it! But, gimme a break. Not much on math or spelling, but caps, I fair ok, and they are the backbone of writing in English. Mom's favorites got college and trade schools. I had to earn my Government Equivelency Degree, known as a "GED" to smart snobs.
One of mom's favorites went on her own to college ~ and she knew how to spell and use proper grammar before she got there. She just didn't use her brains to finish the course. 60 credits from a 4-year college = nothing ('cept for memories).
