The good Lord does answer prayers. Some of them even before you have figured out you need to say a prayer!
I have been reading everything I can find online regarding Word:MAC including the Help within the software program itself. Searching and searching again to find out "how" to do it more efficiently. Formatting bulletins line by line really is not very productive at all and certainly not efficient. But today....ah today....my world changed. One of the other ladies at the office said, "Here, let me show you how." Fifteen minutes later, I am by no means an expert, but I got exactly what I needed to do this job. I advanced 1 million times today over the advances I have made in the last two weeks. I could hardly break myself away from the blind bulletin I was working on and I can hardly wait to wake up and go to work in the morning.
Oh...lol...(I just just love chuckling to my self as I write these blogs)....I volunteered last week to take over the job of burning the sermon message to CD and making copies for those who make such requests. But yesterday, I stalled out, explaining to Pastor that apparently my MAC doesn't have a CD/DVD drive. I looked all over that "machine" and the only slot I found that looked like a drive appeared to be filled in with hard plastic, you know like the kind you would pop out if you put a drive in. That was until this morning when I spoke with my boss about it. The slot is not filled with plastic. It is for the CD/DVD that is in the machine....if you take your glasses off and look closer you can easily see those little "hair thingies" they put in slots to keep dust out. Go figure. In the end, I successfully burned a sermon message to a CD....with no help at all. Yay!
I am tellin' ya, this job has got to be a slice of Heaven. I have never even thought it could be this good.
G'night, sleep tight.
