Lessons continue to be learned.
Don't sit and wait for things you need to meet your deadlines, even if "they" told you not to bother the person that is supposed to get you the stuff, regardless of who ever the person may be, and what ever it may be that they are supposed to give you. Bother the person.
PROOF everything. Even when you don't want to. And if just doesn't sit right, go ask,,,,go tell the person,,,,,that it just doesn't sit right.
Contemporary music has no punctuation. Why is that? Laziness? Creative license? I don't mind it myself, however, everyone should know the rule so that they are not "proofing" stuff the don't need to proof.
Copyrights are not necessarily easy to find. Even when you have a license that gives you access to just about every song in the world. Copyrights are even harder to type. Tabs and hanging indents are not my forte'.
I love LARGE Print bulletins aka "The Blind Bulletins". LOL When I was sitting being trained a couple of weeks ago, I bit my tongue bloody from calling them that. But they are mine now...and I call them "The Blind Bulletins". Did you know when you increase the font 6x's you lose all sense of tabs and centers. I think it is because the size of the column itself has not increased. But who can increase the column 6x's? More practice coming is all I can say.
Practice. That is what I call a weeks worth of creating and recreating for the grand finale. This last week, in closing our 40 Days of Purpose campaign, I chose a lovely lizard green paper. Quite bright. (No, the blind bulletins stayed white...much too much contrast, the green was.)
This coming weekend is Reformation Sunday. It's actually a pretty big deal in the Lutheran Church ~ (if only Martin Luther knew)...... I think I will shop for some light-wine colored, perhaps "unobtrusively dappled" paper.
And in the end, measure twice cut once.....

Big difference between civil service and the real world, eh? You've have broken free from gonvernment mediocracy (if that), to the "other side" where you can truly use your innovation and Blossom.
