A (W)hole Lotta Poo

Thanksgiving Day ~ was cool. Rainy, even! And foggy. We made it up 99 and through Fresno to North Fork for a couple of days with families.

Let's see. The funniest thing that happened was when my s-i-l offered her bachelor uncle a Baileys filled chocolate. His reponse, as he choked on the whole thing was, "Hey, do I taste whiskey??????" Bachelor has not drank in at least 40 +
years from what we know. He thought she offered Bay Leaves chocolate (the guy will eat anything.) Ok not so funny. He did take it fine and with a laugh. Next time she will offer a "booze ball" and he will kindly decline.

Sit around Friday flew by. No bargain shopping in North Fork, population 2500 give or take. Turkey soup. Turkey sandwiches. And of course....turkey dinner at 6pm. Burp.

Saturday morning we left early......and when we got home and flushed the toilets....well all the droppings wound up in the bathtubs. Ai yi yi yi yi. Joe the plumber showed up at 9:15 the next morning. And Geo the scrubber scrubbed til 1:30 to clean two bathrooms and start nasty, NASTY, wet towel mess. Uuuuuugly!
But we also manage to get in some chow time w/ the girls. Just not the turkey dinner we were planning for today~can't cook when there's no water.
And now for the winter's nap.....oh wait....i gotta go to work in the am. Yay!
