Yea, I saw that. So I altered my course to the Valley tomorrow morning to the coast. 32 miles further but cooler and prettier.

It was actually perfect timing. I didn't have to turn on the a/c once while I was in Palmdale, which would have frozen my poor grandpa out of his own home. When it got hot, I went home.
