Cow-a-Banger!

not to be confused with cowabunga. lol

this weekend, after services on Sunday, we went to madera for dinner with family, and on to North Fork for a sleep over at my sis and bro-in-law's. of course, we took banger. old people do that you know, take their little doggie everywhere. and everywhere banger goes, well, she is just a hit. she is so cute, you know. so when she got to aunt c's house, where she is called the princess, we took her out, (her daddy did) in the rain to go pee-pee. after two or three minutes, the two of them came back in. it was wet and it was cold out there! no pee-pee. a little later i took her out ~ with an umbrella and after a little stroll through the yard, she peed. yay. then we went in. and she pooped. i dont think she is aunt c's favorite any more LOL at least it wasnt gooshy poo. but this morning, it was i who got up to let her out.

it was beautiful! trees, ground, and even the sky covered in white. the biggest snow flakes i have ever seen, seriously falling silently to the ground. God's handiwork in process. and an absolute treat for each of us as we sat there watching. it didn't last long, turning to a light rain, melting the snow within a few hours. then blue skies. cold though. real cold. long about the time we left, there was a huge storm that blew through, bringing heavy rain and hail. out on the valley floor, big puffy white clouds to share the road with us as we traveled south.

but before we left my darling precious princess banger spotted the cows. (range cattle) she just had to have one! so she put on her leash and went running outside. barking and growling, warning them not to come any further. its probably a good thing they didn't, they would have kicked her to the other side of the football field. she didn't get to bring one home. but i don't think they will be back anytime soon. she has a pretty good bark......

great weekend. time shared with family and friends and my cow-a-banger dog.

Our older sista has a red/wht/blu umbrella hat that she straps to her head. Might work swell for Bangerswanger. Oh but you live in the desert and it don't rain much there.

Grandpa-D is one of those older people who has to take his doggy everywhere, too.
