its like bowling on ice w/ brooms. and people get excited about it???????

i would kind of like to have a pair of their shoes. they are like those roller shoes the kids wear in walmart. pretty slick.

i just don't get the game....and i really don't have a desire to get the game. and they are showing unreasonable hours of this game.

please someone, 'splain to me. what is curling????

Friday afternoon I came upon curling while flipping channels and talking on the phone. I believe I said something like, "This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. How can this be a sport?!"

And then Friday night I showed it to Robert. It was strangely mesmerizing.

And then Saturday came and we watched more and more. I do not know what the attraction is, but I do find myself drawn to it again and again. I would rather watch it than the skaters and the skiers. What?!?! Weird.

I've heard there's a Wii version... and Ro and I have talked about taking our brooms out to frozen Lake Loveland and seeing what we can do. But yeah, that's too much effort, so we'll just watch it on TV.

anonymous ~ sometimes you are pretty cocky for being so ignorant. but thank you for your input.

The Olympic Games are a major international event featuring summer and winter SPORTS, in which thousands of athletes participate in a variety of COMPETITIONS.

I haven't figured out the scoring yet, but I'm working on it. :)

Can't wait for the Olympic Trivial Pursuit or Checkers events.

Well, now they are putting Golf into the next summer games, and that is even worse than curling. And, I don't know how you keep score on gold either!

I almost couldn't get to sleep last night without my curling. I had to resort to Dave Ramsey. ;)
