the pumpkin pie was BODACIOUS. it was so good,,,,very good. yum. can't say steaming your pumpkins is the most efficient way to make pumpkin pies, can't even say they were so much better than the canned. but it was fun to do. i have enough left over to do two more. and Pie ala' Christy made her day.....a slice of heaven.
tonight...it's PEA SOUP. mmmmm mmmmm mmmmmmm it is already good and it isn't even finished! but it will be for lunch tomorrow. yeah. just perfect for a autumn day to celebrate veteran's day.

I'm so glad your pie turned out great! Now the pea soup I'll pass on. That color green really should not be eaten.
And by the way, papa - that would be PORRIDGE... as in mush. Remember Goldilocks and the Three Bears? ;)
Pourage is also a liquid food. And I didn't have a nursery rhyme book handy.
I guess you could say that:
pourage - 1 definition - Alchoholic beverages with friends. Hence the word "Pour" as in pour some liquor for some shinanigans.
