today starts a new job for one amongst us. after 14 years, 10 on the night shift, a new place to hone his skill. its like getting a kid ready for his return to school after a long hot summer. the only thing that is missing is the little bow tie and a back pack. but it is different after all these years. a little bit nervous, but not like when we were kids. back in those days our shyness could have easily killed us if we had given over to it. this time, it starts with a handshake and the willingness to learn anew. i am excited for him.
and tonight....well not tonight,,,,,but before the week is out i just know dinner will be served. after 10 years of not having to fix dinner, its back into the kitchen for one amongst us. tonight though, lol, i just wont be here to do it. places to go, people to see, and things to do.

ahhhh....thank God for costco. tonite, popped into the over: coconut macadamia mahi mahi.
